Photo License Plates - FAQ?
Q. What type of picture files can I submit for processing?
a. Almost any type including .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .png, .tif, etc.,
but not text, html, etc.
Q. How long does it take to get my plates back?
a. Anywhere from 5 to 17 days.
Q. Are your license plates flimsy?
a. No. They're twice as thick as a government-issued
plate. They are rust-proof aluminum 0.032" thick. Used with
the accessory kit (available for a limited time), they're indestructible
- you can smash the with a hammer causing no damage!
Q. Will your license plates rust?
a. No - impossible. They're made out of rust-proof aluminum.
Q. Will your license plates fade?
a. No. They're warranted for at least five years.
They certainly will last much longer though. And when they're
used in conjunction with the shield (available for a limited time),
much of the UV is deflected by the shield.
Q. What resolution do you print my plates at?
a. 150 DPI (good photo quality) - the best in the industry
by far.
Q. What is the best size for me to submit my
picture?
a. A license plate is 12" by 6", so 1200 by 600
pixels @ 150DPI is good.
And the larger the file size, the better - bigger than 50K usually unless
it is a logo or picture with few colors.
Q. If I mail my picture with a check, will
I get my picture back?
a. Yes, of course.
Q. What is included with my purchase?
a. Your custom license plate, shipping & handling, and for
a limited time, a clear indestructible shield, a four screw nylon mounting
system, and a Cd-Rom of your license plates before and after processing.

Q. We are prepping the .tif file at 12" x 6",
